Although fall and Thanksgiving make me crave pumpkin desserts, I don’t rule them out the rest of the year. Life’s too short to limit yourself to only one season of pumpkin bread…am I right? This recipe was a twist on the usual pumpkin bread…Pumpkin Doughnut Muffins (because just a sweet bread or a doughnut alone is not enough–thank Martha again for this one). When the muffins are done, they are lightly brushed with melted butter and rolled in a cinnamon sugar mix 🙂 They have a more cakey-dough to them than pumpkin muffins. The cinnamon sugar crust is essential if you have a sweet tooth like me–I might start doing this to all my muffins. Enjoy!!
